{Spotlight Project} Deepti Creates A Christmas Card Set

Hello, STAMPlorations friends! Deepti here and welcome to my sixth spotlight feature. With Christmas right around the corner, I am sure you must be is a rush to create as many Christmas cards as possible. So, today I decided to show you how to make some quick Christmas cards.

I have used the October Stamp set JoyfulHoliday Sketches: Christmas Bells, and Holiday Sketches: Christmas Candles. For the sentiment, I used Oh! Christmas Tree.

So here's a look into all the finished cards together... The idea is to keep the color scheme simple and use patterned paper to add to the design.

Here's a step-by-step photo tutorial to showcase the process of making this card set...

STEP 1
Cut the patterned paper in various shapes for the card design. For example, I cut out a circle in one, and in another I used a scalloped border die.

STEP 2
Heat emboss all the images on a white card stock in gold embossing powder and fussy cut.

STEP 3
Adhere all these pieces together with the patterned paper on card base using glue stick and some foam adhesives.

STEP 4
Stamp the sentiment and cut it into banners. Adhere the sentiment banners on the cards, and dress the cards with some red gemstones.

Here's the finished look once again :) This time I will showcase every card individually.

That finishes my sixth spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy crafting!
