{Spotlight Project} Shirley Goes On A Christmas Card Dash

I was on the last minute for my Spotlight Project, and didn't really have anything in mind. It didn't help that last week I decided to repaint my craft room and re-arrange it, new furniture and all. So now I can't find anything!

But amongst the piles of stuff on my desk were some leftovers from the Christmas blog hop, and some patterned pre-folded card that I'd found in my clear-up, so I did a trolley-dash style cardmaking session and made four cards in just a few minutes.

I kept it quite simple - the card pattern served as my snow background, and thankfully my style of colouring is very quick!

There's a definite advantage to cutting more images than you need at the time ;)  I hope I've inspired you to make some quick and easy cards with your leftovers.

Remember, if you try out any of the techniques from our Spotlight posts and add your project to our Spotlight Project Showcase you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate (random drawing) OR your choice of 5x7 stamp set + a Spotlight Project guest designer spot (randomly drawn from the Top 3 picks).

  2. Such fun cards. It goes to prove that less can definitely be more. I often get overwhelmed with all the choices/supplies I have when I sit down to create a card.
