{Mixed Media Tutorial} Melissa Makes a Sunflower Summer Inspired Calendar

Hi! I'm here to share another mixed media calendar with you today. I hope you enjoy seeing the process I used to create it. Here's the mini calendar page that I made.

I used a variety of CUTplorations, ARTplorations and STAMPlorations products.

1. I started by coloring a page from "Color Blooms" with alcohol markers. I added red embossing paste with the "Dots All Over" stencil.

2. I die cut multiple "Clustered Hearts", inked them up and adhered them to the coloring page with a mixture of Glossy Accents and clear, heat embossing powder.

3. I created a small panel with "Chevron Crazy", Brusho Crystal Colors and a Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Die.

4. I designed the little calendar as a word document and printed it onto white cardstock. It measures about 4" x 2 1/4" or 4 cm x 5.75 cm.

5. I die cut the calendar and colored it with alcohol markers.

6. I added white gel pen to accentuate the letters and numbers.

7. I stamped with a Trendy Bird, fussy cut and heat embossed and then assembled the pieces with a white and yellow frame base.

8. I added a bit of gold ink to the panels' edges to complete my calendar.

That's all I have for today. I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and look forward to reading your comments.

Thanks for stopping by!

Grace & Peace,

P.S. Here’s a coupon code for you. There’s no expiration, as long as I’m a STAMPlorations Girl, this code will be valid.
