{Mixed Media Tutorial} A Christmas Tag by Tanja

Hi there, it's Tanja here and I would like to show you how to create this Christmas Tag:

  • add color with Schmincke Horadam and Daniel Smith watercolors ... and add some brown watercolor splatters
  • ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Ground Espresso and dye a piece of torn seam binding with that same ink
  • color the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • cut a holly flourish from vellum and use one of the CUTplorations Art Edges on a piece of leftover patterned paper
  • assemble the tag using hot glue
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Joyful set with Versafine Vintage Sepia and add it on top of the layered cluster

I hope you got inspired and don't forget to join us for our Mixed Media Challenge. The theme is always anything mixed media except a card. You must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. The linky closes at the end of the month.

Yours,
