{Spotlight Project} Cornelia Plays with the Clouds Stencil

Hi, Cornelia here today, trying to brighten up your day!

I love stencils and I am so happy that we now have them available at STAMPlorations. Today I played around with the Clouds stencil and that wonderful sentiment from the Typografia set.

Lets get started:

I stamped the sentiment into the lower corner of my card stock.

Next, I placed the stencil over it so that the sun is peeking out behind the sentiment. The nice thing about this stencil is that it comes with the cutouts, so I just placed the cloud into the opening and secured it with Washi tape to avoid inking parts of my card stock where I don't want any ink..

I sponged one cloud and then the other.

Next, I die cut two clouds out of fun foam and also cut myself a slightly smaller square of fun foam to mount my card on. (I learned that trick in the CAS 4 class). I also colored two of the words in yellow.

And here you see the card again all assembled:

Almost forgot - I added Wink of Stella to the yellow words, but I don't think it really shows in the picture.

See you again in 2 weeks with another tutorial!

Supplies Cornelia used in today's project:
