How many times have you sent out blah, boring envelopes? Well, no more! Today, I'm going to talk about how to send Happy Mail Envelopes, otherwise referred to as mail art. Creating these envelopes is so relaxing and the recipient is sure to be extra impressed.
I started by stamping some of the images from the Country Rustic set - which happen to be just perfect for happy mail.
Next, I colored in the images using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I did each image a little differently, and tried to play up their artsy sketchy feel with my shading.
Now, for the address placeholder. I used Micron pens to draw thin, sketchy lines around the places I wanted to leave for the addresses.
After I had as much color on as I wanted, I blended and smudged the gelatos with my fingers.
One some envelopes I included a little sentiment in the frame and in others, I just left them blank.
They turned out to be super adorable! So no more stark white envelopes - hello mail art!
Stamp On!

I've always been fascinated by mail art but haven't done it myself, other than to slap on a few stickers. I think this would be so fun to make - and to receive! Well done on your tutorial, Becca!
