Have you seen Sweet Cravings, the new STAMP club stamp set with matching dies? A luscious collection of calorie-free goodness.
I went straight for the popsicle/ice lolly/lolly ice/ice pop/paddle pop, depending on where you live. I stamped several images then cut them out with the matching die and watercoloured them with juicy Distress Inks colours.
I splattered some of the same colours on my base card. I always use an acrylic block as a palette, then just wipe clean or smoosh some spare card through if there's a lot left on the palette.
Once that was dry it was just a case of mounting the images onto my card, and adding a sentiment. I performed a bit of surgery on one of the sentiments to suit my needs.
I also had a little play with no-line watercolouring using Distress Re-inkers.
To enhance the image I added a shadow with a Tombow pen then trimmed the panel down. I added a strip of washi tape on my base card before mounting the panel onto the card.
Are your teeth tingling for a refreshing burst of flavour (or colour)? The stamp set and dies are available in the store now, just click on the links in the images at the top of the post.
