{Special Post} It's All About the Blossoms + 25% Off on Select Flower Products + A Giveaway

Hey, STAMPlorations friends! We have a special post today -- courtesy of STAMPgirl Jessica, who created TEN different floral/spring-themed projects. Plus we've got a sale on select flower products until May 31 and a giveaway found at the end of this post.

Hi everyone! Jessica here and I'm super thrilled to share some floral cards with you today. It's one of my favorite themes and I *love* the different styles of springy stamps, dies and stencils STAMPlorations has to offer. Check it out and get ready for some flower frenzies! (Keep reading to find out more about the sale as well :-) )

My first card was created using the gorgeous About a Rose set. I colored the rose image with Copic markers and stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. (This little set comes with 3 awesome sentiments btw!) I also decorated the card with lots of embellishments and torn elements.

For my second card I did some simple ink blending with distress inks. The stencil I used is Happy Flowers. I paired it up with Sweet Spring Wishes CUTplorations die and also trimmed the panel to add some background interest.

I love my Coffee for All Seasons stamp set and was inspired to create a similar concept. I decided to mask and stamp Framed Cherry BlossomsFramed Solitary Rose, and Framed Dahlia to create this card. I colored the dahlias with Copic markers and white heat embossed the sentiment from Fond Expressions 2.

My next project is all about up-cycling. I stamped In Bloom: Darling Dog Roses on old novel pages and loosely colored them with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush markers. I die cut the Amazing CUTplorations die from gold glitter cardstock and white cardstock, then I off-set them a little and adhered them together. And I completed the sentiment with words in the Fond Expressions 2 as well.

It wouldn't be me without a rainbow card. :-) Here I used the Shower of Flutters stencil to create this really dynamic one layer look. First I blended some really bright Distress Inks in rainbow colors and spritzed on white acrylic paint. Then I placed the stencil on top and blended a coat of black ink. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment (and yes, it's from Fond Expressions 2!) with white embossing powder and that finishes off the card.

For my sixth project I decided to use patterned paper instead of inks to dress up the card. I choose several sheets of pastel-colored patterned paper and used the paper piecing technique to create a soft and elegant scene with the Rise and Grind set

Lotus Love is one of the first sets I got from STAMPlorations and I love how you can create various looks by arranging the florals differently. I white heat embossed the images, colored them with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens, and masked them so I can ink blend the bold, blue background.

I wanted to create a monochrome card and I thought the Bloomtangled #1 Cover Plate die fits perfectly. The gorgeous details really pop against the solid background, and I completed the card with a sentiment die cut using Smile CUTplorations die.

Did you see a succulent plant in this design? Well, I certainly did when I looked at the Emanations stencil. I applied a think layer of embossing paste over this stencil. And once it dried, I tried watercoloring it with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens to mimic the echeveria succulent. Then I spritzed on some white paint droplets and added a punny, handwritten sentiment.

For my last card I did some Copic coloring with the In Bloom: Radiant Roses set. I really love the In Bloom series; some coloring and fussy cutting is all you need for a simplistic design.

I hope you enjoyed my floral creations and feel a little inspired to make something springy. If you'd like to pair up your floral cards with butterflies or some things with wings, you still have a couple of days to enter our May challenges! But my favorite is actually the paper pieced coffee card. Your design is so interesting and you've used the papers perfectly to create an endearing card.
