Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! We're continuing with the Stencil Sunday reboot that we started two Sundays ago! On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of the month, the STAMPgirls will be sharing their projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils.
If you missed the first two posts, they're here and here. Each month, we'll be picking one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.
Today STAMPgirl Terri is back with two more projects -- she created 2 cards with beautifully stenciled backgrounds.
Here's Terri with her projects:
Card #1: Life is Good
I used the Bloom Factory stencil to apply some Distress Oxide inks. I then added some ink through the Shutters stencil. I flicked lots of spring coloured inks to add a feel of movement to the piece.
Using the Life is Good stencil, I drew around it on to kraft card and cut it out. I added lots of color using splatters and a little bit of blending through the Bloom Factory stencil.
Card #2: Hello
Using my Gelli plate and acrylic paints I created a print. I used the Bloomdala Bliss #9 mask to add colour. I then used the Plaid Maker stencil to fill in the white space.
With one of the sentiments from the Kathryn's Rainbow stamp set I added a faint grey text in the background. I cut the Hello word die from both lilac and white card and layered them to give a drop shadow effect.

Aren't those cards simply beautiful? If you want a chance to win a $15 gift code to the STAMPlorations store, leave a comment here and on Terri's blog by April 5. We'll announce the winner in the March winners post on April 10.
Did you enjoy today's featured post? Stencil Sunday will be back on April 14 with 2 projects from STAMPgirl Chris!
