Hi! Cornelia here with a preview on one of the sets in the January release. I played with the A Girl and Her Shoes set. It's in the store already and you can grab it, before it sells out.
I first stamped two of the shoes in alternating pattern as a background.
I then took the large solid shoe, stamping it on white card stock and lining up my Stamp-a-majig, since I wanted to get a good black impression and in my experience you have to at least stamp twice, sometimes even three times.
Here you see the first impression:
And below is after the second stamping - it makes a huge difference. Nice, solid black.
Added the sentiment in red - also inked it up twice. It is really important to not move the Stamp-a-majig, or the paper for that matter, otherwise your image will be blurry....
I trimmed and glued the above panel onto red card stock and mounted it with foam tape. I also added some very light shading with a light grey Copic marker to the shoes. It does not really show in the picture, but it made a difference in real life. the shoes just get more dimension that way. I could not resist and added a single tiny red gem.
Now, which pair is your favorite?
