I've got a step-by-step photo tutorial to showcase the process of making this card.
STEP 1
Take a watercolor panel, cut it into the shape you want, and heat emboss the image in white embossing powders.
STEP 2
Use Distress inks / watercolors to color the image. The embossed image will resist the watercolors. To do this, first apply water then add color and gradually move along the card stock without letting the water dry to achieve a smooth transition in colors.
STEP 3
Since I have used distress inks, they react with water once dry. To add more interest, I splattered some water droplets and dabbed them dry with a paper towel.
STEP 4
Finally, cut out patterned paper panel and adhere it on card base, heat emboss the sentiment on vellum, and put it all together to finish the card.
Here's the finished card once again :)
That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy crafting!
