Hi, Cornelia here today! I am sharing a card with you using the gorgeous new set, Blossom Ovature.
I chose the large rose, stamped it onto a scrap piece of card stock, and colored it with Copics and fussy cut it.
I then took an acrylic bloc and smooshed some distress inks on it...
...misted it with water - it turned out to be too much water and pressed it onto water color paper.
Since the coloring was very faint, I repeated the process with less water.
I heat embossed the sentiment onto black card stock and cut it to size and arranged everything the way I liked it.
I glued the sentiment down and decided the card would look better with splatters. So I put some distress ink onto an acrylic block, added water and flicked it with a paint brush onto the card.
Lastly, I mounted the rose with foam tape. I rounded the corners and added some white highlights with a white Sharpie and some drops of glossy accents.
