Hello, STAMPlorations friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. Today I am showcasing a mixed media card. It might look complex, but it's pretty fun and easy to make :)
Here's the finished card:
STEP 1
I started out by applying some crackle paste through the Old Rose Print stencil on watercolor cardstock.
STEP 2
While the paste was drying, I stamped the images from The Birds and The Blooms on water color paper using Archival black ink.
STEP 3
Then I watercolored all the images using my Koi Water colors.
STEP 4
Next, I fussy cut these images.
STEP 5
Once the crackle paste on the base panel was dry, I colored it with Distress inks using them as water colors.
STEP 6
When it dried, I stamped a few Mixed Media Grunge stamps along the edges and adhered everything together to finish my card. Here's the finished card again:
That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!
