{Spotlight Project} Vicki Gets Inspired by Pinterest

I am rather sad; this is my last Spotlight Project for you all. DH and I are going to do some traveling and unfortunately, stamping isn't conducive to trailer traveling. That aside, I wanted to share a fun last project with all of you.

Cool, isn't it? Well, I think so :) I used Bloom Sketches with a sentiment from Fond Expressions.

It all started with my friend, Pinterest. ;)

I loved the fun vases, and that background! Yes, please!

Here is the tutorial to make my card:

STEP 1
Cut a smaller circle die.

STEP 2
Cut the next circle size up, off-center.

STEP 3
Cut some strips.

STEP 4
Scrunch up a panel of card stock.

STEP 5
Using inks, swipe them directly to the card panel.
[I love the way the texture shows with this technique]

STEP 6
And lastly, adhere all together and attach to a card base.
I really love the modern feel of this card -- kind of fun.

It has been my pleasure showing different spotlight project tutorials for you here on the STAMPlorations blog. Just so you know, I will still be creating projects for the Inspiration Project posts, along with general designing for STAMPlorations. Thanks, Shery, for keeping me on!

See you all later, gators...

[Note from Shery: Talk about going out with a bang! Vicki's last spotlight project is nothing short of awesome, don't you think? While we're not going to see any more of Vicki's spotlight project tutorials after this one, I'm not entirely too sad about it because she remains in the design team and will continue creating projects for STAMPlorations! And what's more, Maria F. is joining the Spotlight Team and sharing spotlight project tutorials beginning June! So get ready for hip, trendy, and chic projects from her -- it's going to be a blast!]
