Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. The Country Rustic set has loads of images that can be used to create some artistic cards similar to that of paintings. My spotlight is on the same thing and I will share a fun way to create the leaves with watercolors.
So, here's a look at the finished card.
STEP 1
I started out by stamping the window image on a water color panel.
STEP 2
Next I stamped bricks (from the Mixed Media Grunge) around the window by masking to create the illusion of a wall.
STEP 3
Next I did some watercoloring using my Koi Water colors. I wish I could make a video tutorial for this... Hopefully by this year... you will see my video tutorials :)
STEP 4
Finally, the fun part. the leaves. The leaves that you see around the window are created by simply pouncing size 2 brush dipped in shades of green. This pouncing is very random and the only thing that you need to remember is to take concentrated pigment on your brush :)
Here's the finished look of the card once again :)
That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!
