Step 1 - I started out by cutting a window into the card panel through which we will see the sky.
Step 2 - Next I marked a guideline on my cardbase using the window panel to stamp the sky. I then stamped the card base with different shades of ink using a brush stroke stamp from the Mixed Media Elements set.
Here's how the three skies would look:
Step 3 - In order to add more interest I stamped, fussy cut, and colored the bird house from Country Rustic and assembled my card using foam dots. I also stamped the birds on the sky and sentiment from New Beginning and Fond Expressions, respectively, prior to adhering it all together.
