Inspired by this tutorial for stenciling with Liquid Pearls and then this card, I played around with my German equivalent of Liquid Pearls today to create a cool background. Ready?
Here's that background.
Gathered my supplies - white cardstock which I die cut using one of the dies in the CUTplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangles (available starting July 3), Gone Postal, and Liquid Pearls.
STEP 2
Squeezed some pink dots onto the panel.

Squeezed some pink dots onto the panel.
STEP 3
Added a few dots of light blue for contrast. I skipped the lower right section since I knew my stamped image would be placed there.
Then I stamped my image with black Versafine onto a leftover of Distress-Ink-smooshed watercolor paper.
STEP 6
Die cut it with another upcoming CUTplorations product ;) TIP: When you have your dies lined up, use washi to tape them down securely and run them through your die cutting machine in one pass.
STEP 7
I die cut the smaller rectangle from craft foam too for some dimension, then adhered my image to it and both pieces to my Liquid Pearls panel using matt medium and a paintbrush.
