{Spotlight Project} Cornelia Stamps on Patterned Paper

Hi, Cornelia here today, stamping on patterned paper. I have a huge stack of PP at home and I hardly ever use it. I finally decided its time to do something with it.....remembering an old video by Lizzie Jones, where she did just that.

My supplies:

I started out with a 6x6 sheet of PP

Did some testing of colors before I started...

...and settled on those:

Stamped the tribal arts stamps randomly on the paper. Sponged a scrap piece of water color card stock with distress ink and die cut the word die.

Took a piece of white card stock and marked where I needed some colored background. Sponged.

Put foam tape on the back of my PP.

And put it all together. Not totally happy....

Decided that I needed black splatters.....
Now I am happy with the result:

Hope you liked this and perhaps get inspired to pull out all that paper you have hoarded...

  7. Cornelia is just to clever for words...surprising she hasn't got a big head from all the praise she gets. This is just another example of her brilliance.
