{Spotlight Project} Create Prisma Art with Deepti!

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of my FB friends posting their profile pictures with Prisma effect, which is an app that transforms your photos into works of art. Taking cue from that I decided to create my Prisma Art Card :)

Step 1

I cut a white card stock with the smallest rectangle die and used my Sharpie Markers to color the entire base by making stripes of different colors. I followed the sequence of colors.

Step 2

I then stamped and colored the scooter image in the similar way, and then fussy cut it.

Step 3

I stamped the scooter image again and colored it in black. I fussy cut this one too. The idea is to give the shadow to the colored image.

I then assembled the card as shown in the final image by stamping the sentiment, adding a diagonal layer of black card stock, stamping the sentiment and embellishing with a wood veneer.

This was fun easy and a quick :) Here is another look at the card:

I also tried something with my iPhone photo editor, I changes the image into a faded look which kind of gives a vintage look to my card :) hahaha Just for fun!! Actually I like it better ;)
