Hello crafty friends, Amy here and I have some lil' ATC's for you using ARTplorations FALL FLORAL TRIO stencil and sentiments from STRONG WOMEN, TRENDY FEATHERS 2 and ART MARKS along with Twinkling H2Os. :o)
First cut down 3 pieces of watercolor paper to 3.25" x 2.25". Place the Fall Floral Trio stencil so only one is visible on your watercolor paper base and mask off the rest of the stencil with masking tape. Then use Versamark Ink over the stencil and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Do this to all 3 of your ATC bases.
Next, get out your Twinkling H2Os or watercolor paints and have some fun! I started by misting my papers with water and dabbing the Twinkling H2Os onto my pieces with a paint brush. I used Fall colors here (Gold, Copper, Orange and Red). You can air dry or dry using your heat tool.
Now, stamp your inspirational sentiments using Black Archival Ink. I finished with some “splatters” from the Art Marks set in Lady Bug Memento Ink for added texture to my background.
Add some white paint splatters using your Sharpie Paint Pen or White Acrylic Paint diluted with water and a fan brush.
Glue your ATC pieces to black cardstock bases cut at 3.5" x 2.5" (Standard ATC size). I love how the black cardstock ties my whole ATC together. Matting your watercolor pieces also helps if your paper warped in the watercolor process. :o)
Here's a closer look a them.
Happy Craftin'!
Amy
