Hi! It’s Melissa here with a fun mixed media tutorial to share with you today. I have a bright pair of tags that I made and I hope you enjoy seeing the process I used to create it.
1. Stamped the Sketched Pumpkin in embossing ink onto water color paper and heat embossed in white.
2. I applied Brusho Crystal Colour in red, yellow, orange and green over the embossed pumpkin.
3. Sprayed the crystals with spray starch, covered with scrunched up plastic/cling/kitchen wrap and allowed to dry.
4. Removed plastic wrap.
5. Die cut using CUTplorations Luggage Tags Nesting Dies.
6. Cut another set of tags for the backs.
7. Adhered the backs.
8. Stamped the sentiment using STAMPlorations Big Greetings and Sketchy Alphabet in embossing ink on one tag.
9. Heat embossed in white embossing powder.
10. Stenciled Some Birds in gold on the top of the other tag.
11. Added twine.
That's all I have for today. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and look forward to reading your comments!
