Hi there, it's Tanja here and I would like to show you how to create this Christmas Tag:
- cut one of the CUTplorations Tags #1 dies from watercolor paper and apply texture paste through the ARTplorations Holly Background stencil - let it dry thoroughly
- add color with Schmincke Horadam and Daniel Smith watercolors ... and add some brown watercolor splatters
- ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Ground Espresso and dye a piece of torn seam binding with that same ink
- create a little stamp with the help of the STAMPlorations Gone Postal set and Versafine Vintage Sepia - use the Masking Technique
- color the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and a damp watercolor brush
- cut a holly flourish from vellum and use one of the CUTplorations Art Edges on a piece of leftover patterned paper
- assemble the tag using hot glue
- stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Joyful set with Versafine Vintage Sepia and add it on top of the layered cluster
I hope you got inspired and don't forget to join us for our Mixed Media Challenge. The theme is always anything mixed media except a card. You must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. The linky closes at the end of the month.
