It's a blizzard! Here in North Dakota we FINALLY have some snow on the ground and I celebrated by holing up in my craft studio and playing with my favorite thing - GLITTER.
Today I'm going to show you how I made this textured metallic background to create a one-of-a-kind holiday showstopper.
I took a piece of heavyweight cardstock and covered it with silver Texture Luxe by Faber Castell.
Next, I used a heat tool to dry the paste, allowing it to bubble and crack in areas.
I added a layer of pearl Texture Luxe through the ARTplorations Confetti Circles stencil.
And then I sprinkled it with GLITTER!!!
I embossed the wreath from the Joyful stamp set and colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers.
I stamped a sentiment using some of the words from the set to finish out my look.
Eep! So little time to write in these babies and send them off!
