Hello everyone... I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones. 2018 is almost ending, and ready or not... the new year 2019 is coming!
I started with creating the watercolored wash background using the Marabu Art Sprays and water with smooshing technique. You can do this also with any paint sprays or watercolor paints. I dried the background each time I added the colors. I sprayed some more water to blend the colors and then I dried the panel again with craft heater.
I added some white acrylic paint on that background using make sponge and the Dream Flower stencil. I dried again the panel with craft heater.
I added some more paint splatters using the same Art Spray paints. And then dried it again with craft heater.
I cut the mixed media background panel with the largest die in the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.
And then, I stamped the writing image from the Mixed Media Elements set using my hand instead of stamping block with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad. I added the finished background panel on a white card with strong adhesive glue.
I cut out a piece of silver metallic cardstock with Anywhere There's Coffee Mug Die.
And then I stamped the mug from the Anywhere There's Coffee stamp set using Staz-On Jet Black ink pad.
Next, I stamped one of the fun sentiments form the Anywhere There's Coffee stamp set with VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze Ink Pad and then I trimmed it into sentiment banner with scissors.
I added some mini staplers on top of the sentiment banner with mini staplers and I added it on the top left corner card with 3D foam tape also.
The card is done. I hope this tutorial is easy for you to get started with mixed media card.
