{Special Post} Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop and STAMPlorations + Extra Prize

Hello, STAMPlorations friends! I and 11 other STAMPgirls are participating in the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Inaugural Blog Hop that starts today and runs until February 7.

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

For this awesome hop, 19 caring sponsors and 11 DT members have come together to bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public. For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page.

For this hop, STAMPlorations is giving away a $25 coupon code (gift voucher) to spend on the STAMPlorations store. And be sure you scroll down to the end of this post, as I have an extra prize. You only need to answer a very simple question to be included in the random draw.

I used colors from the TS official color board for my projects:

Hope you liked my projects! I have an extra prize of $15 gift certificate to give away to one lucky commenter. Simply answer this question: Who is the most amazing woman/girl in your life? Comment by February 9. Winners will be announced in the January winners post on February 10.

Make sure you visit the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Inaugural Blog Hop page to find out how you can win one of the prizes.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)

  18. Absolutely gorgeous, Shery! I love what you've done with these faces and the gorgeous hair! Thank you for sponsoring this worthwhile cause and for an extra prize - you are always so generous!

The answer to your question is easy for me - my Mom! My Mom is my best friend. I can always count on her, always talk to her, and she's always there for me. She is honest, wise, uplifting, funny, always seems to understand what I'm going through, and always gives meaningful advice. No one else in my life has ever come close to being the inspiration she has been to me. I'm so grateful that she's still in this world because I don't know what I would ever do without her. Thanks for reminding me how much I love and appreciate my Mom!

  24. Absolutely gorgeous, Miss Shery! Always love your beautifully designed creations and how you make the grunge style look so easy!
I little over a year ago, I would've said my Mom is the most amazing woman in my life, but sadly she passed away. But everything she taught me is still a part of me and I follow her teachings every day. She grew up in foster care in the 40's and had it very rough. So to be such a beautiful mother, in spite of that, is totally amazing.

The most amazing woman is my daughter - she works, runs a home and also has to cook for a family with multiple allergies, ending up adapting recipes etc. She and her husband are also launching a website to assist others cooking with allergy concerns too. On top of that she has a chronic health condition that on occasions causes her severe pain, yet she just keeps going!
