Hello, STAMPlorations friends. It was nice to see lots of cupcakes in last month's gallery -- so thank you so much if you were one of those who played. We will announce the winners on June 10.
This month's challenge is the last challenge before we go on summer break and resume in October. Before I reveal the theme, though, the STAMPgirls and I are saying farewell to one amazing crafter and person, Jerrie Mead. She passed away last May 8. Because Jerrie always worked ahead, she had her design team projects done all the way to this month. It's one of the things I loved about Jerrie -- she was prompt and took her design team responsibilities seriously. Not only that, she had a style that appealed to me. She was legally blind, but that didn't stop her from creating some of the most awesome artsy-grungy cards around. She will be truly missed around here and on blogland.
As it's our birthday month, we are going with the theme STAMPS & BIRTHDAYS. We also have a sketch you can follow if you'd rather skip the cupcakes. Or combine both in your projects.
If you play, make sure you include the graphic(s) in your post and link back to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.
And here's the sketch:

Inspired by the theme or sketch? Please just keep in mind these simple rules:
- Link up any type of project(s) based on the theme, the sketch, or both.
- You must use stamps in your project(s) -- rubber, clear, or digi from any company. Non-STAMPlorations stamps are OK.
- Link up to 6 entries and link up to as many other challenges as you want.
- You must display the challenge graphic in your post (if linking from your blog) and link back to the challenge post (not just the main blog) in order to be eligible to win (and receive the corresponding prize).
- Link up by June 30, 11:55 p.m. Pacific time.
Prizes:
- The winner (as voted by the design team) receives a $15 gift certificate.
- Three (3) randomly drawn crafters each receive a $5 gift certificate
Heads up! If you used at least one STAMPlorations product (digi or clear stamp, stencil, die, or a page from any of our coloring books), make sure to link it up to our Never-ending Anything Goes Challenge too for a chance to win more STAMPlorations products! We draw two winners every month :o) You may also want to check out our other challenges. You can find links to all our challenges at the top of the page for more inspiration and more opportunities to win prizes.
All players, please read:
Before you add your project to the link up, make sure that you are already linking up to this challenge on your blog post. Otherwise, your entry may be deleted. Also, please link up a maximum of 6 entries -- whether you are linking from your blog or your Instagram account. The maximum entry is per player, so linking up 4 of your projects from your blog and 3 projects from your Instagram account will disqualify you from the voting and prizes.
