Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to a spotlight feature. With Christmas closing in, we have to build our Christmas stash. I decided to make two cards, making use of both positive and negative pieces from die cutting. I have used the Holiday Words Plate Die as the star of my cards :) I made one into a shaker and for the other I used the die cut sentiment as the background. Let me show you...
Step 1 - So for this one I took a white card stock panel and used Distress inks for a winter sky.
Step 2 - I then die cut this using Holiday Word plate die.
Step 3 - I decided to use both positive and negative die cut. On the negative die cut, I adhered a transparency. I then used the positive die cut as a guide to stick the little pieces.
Step 4 - I then turned it into a shaker using the Shaker Blends.
Step 5 - I die cut the sentiment background using fun foam to add dimension to the positive die cut piece for my second card. I also stamped the Santa images and colored them partially to match the background.
To finish I adhered it all together :)
Here is a closeup into each card...
