Hey, STAMPlorations friends! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday post. On the last Thursday of the month, the STAMPgirls will be sharing new projects inspired by a previous STAMPlorations project...either one they made themselves or made by another STAMPgirl. And every month, we'll draw one lucky crafter to win a $15 gift code -- randomly drawn from all comments left on the Throwback Thursday post for the month, as well as from the featured designer's blog.
Today STAMPgirl Helen shares her creative takes inspired by a past project and using various STAMPlorations products.
Today, I am back with couple of Christmas themed cards for the Throwback Thursday feature post.
My inspiration for these three Christmas cards today is this Christmas tag that I created back in November 2018. You can find more detail about it here. I am inspired by the stenciled background and traditional Christmas colors.

Card #2 - A Joyful Christmas

The Throwback Tag
Card #1 - A Blessed Christmas
On my first card, I used the Blessed Christmas - Typografia Christmas stamp, Holly Background stencil, and Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle nesting dies.
I used Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink and Fired Brick Distress Oxide Ink that I added the ink on a piece of white cardstock with small round blending brush.
After that, I removed the stencil. I sprayed it lightly with water and then dabbed the water off with paper towel right away. I dried it with craft heater and then I cut the cardstock with the largest size of the dies, and I added it on top of the card base with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment on another white cardstock with Golden Glitz Delicata ink using Mini MISTI. I dried the ink with craft heater and then I cut it with the smallest size of the nesting dies. I added it on top of the card with 3D foam tape.

Card #2 - A Joyful Christmas
On my second card, I used the stamping with stencil technique using the left over ink on the Holly Background stencil. I sprayed the stencil with some water, and then flipped it over on top of a piece of watercolor paper. I dabbed of the extra water off with paper towel and then I dried it completely with craft heater.
I cut this watercolored background base with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle nesting dies and then I added on the card base with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.
I used the Joyful Christmas - Typografia Christmas stamp. I stamped it on a white cardstock with the Golden Glitz Delicata Ink Pad, dried it, and trimmed it with paper trimmer. I added it on top of the card with 3D foam tape.

Card #3 - Angels on High
My third card, I used the Holly Background stencil for the background. I added some Unicorn White Pigment Ink on a piece of red cardstock with blending brush. After that, I dried the ink with craft heater and cut it with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle nesting dies. I added it on a red card base with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.
For the sentiment, I used stamping with stencil technique using the Christmas Trees stencil and white spray ink. I did it on a piece of this green watercolored background paper left over from previous project. I dried it completely with craft heater.
I stamped the sentiment, Angels On High - Typografia Christmas stamp, with Unicorn White Pigment Ink and Golden Glitz Delicata Ink using Mini MISTI because I restamped it several times to get the crisp result.
I dried the ink with craft heater and then I cut it with the smallest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle nesting dies. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

I love using those crazy stitched rectangle dies, but always have to make adjustments as our card size is different from yours. I think your cards are so festive looking, the backgrounds really set them off
