Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to my very first Spotlight feature for the year 2020. Today I am focusing on a couple of masculine cards. These cards are simple yet striking because of some metallic tones. I used patterned papers as the core to my designs. Let me show you...
Step 1 - I cut out to panels from grey card stock that will form the card base. I also picked up the patterned papers. I chose copper, browns and grey shades of patterned paper.
At this step I also decided to choose the stamps for my cards. A candle and a cupcake.
Step 2 - I then stamped the candle and cupcake on patterned paper. I fussy cut the candles and paper pieced the cupcake.
Step 3 - I decided for the birthday sentiments that I will use and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I also added a pearl pigment splatter at this point.
Step 4 - I also went over with a black marker along the edges of fussy cut pieces for a clean look. Finally I adhered all the pieces together to make my cards.
Here is a closeup into each card...
That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try.
Happy paper crafting!
Fabulous, Deepti....I love these!! I had to PIN!
