{Stencil Sunday} Quick and Easy Stenciled CAS Cards by Sue

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! It's time for another helping of stencil inspiration this month. You'll get to see projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

STAMPgirl Sue used a couple of stencils to create quick and easy CAS cards.

Supplies used: Evolution stencil, Make a Wish phrase die

I used the Evolution stencil and added colour with distress inks (mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry, salty ocean, twisted citron) applied with an ink blending tool. For the sentiment, I used those same distress inks, applied randomly on a 3" x 3" scrap of white cardstock. I die cut the sentiment using Make a Wish Phrase die from the inked 3" x 3" scrap. When I placed the die cut sentiment onto the inked background, it kind of disappeared, in a camouflaged kind of way. So, I die cut two more "make a wish" from black cardstock and offset them slightly, making it appear like a shadow of the inked "make a wish" die cut.

Supplies used: Fall Floral Trio stencil, Crisscrossed stencil, Thinking of You phrase die

I used the Fall Floral Trio stencil and inked it up with distress inks (mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry) applied with an ink blending tool. I fussy cut out one of the floral blooms and adhered it to a bright pink A2 panel. For the sentiment, I took a scrap of yellow cardstock and using Crisscrossed stencil and mustard seed distress ink, made a tone-on-tone piece. I die cut the sentiment using Thinking of You phrase die and adhered it opposite the floral bloom.
