Hi Peeps! I've created a set of ATCs for you today with limited supplies.
My starting point was the Tropical Drink Large stamp, which I stamped at various angles just using part of the image.
I painted a Distress Oxide background in a different colour on each ATC.
Then sponged through stencils on each one using the same colour as the background, taking care around the image. I used a small blending brush for accuracy around the image but you could always mask it.
I forgot to take a photo of the other pink one! But I used Overlap Stencil as you'll see below.
I die-cut some letters using the Skinny Sentiments and Upper Case Alphabet dies and set about assembling the ATCs.
Starting with the missing pink one! I used black Skinny sentiment letters and a stamp from Art Marks 2. I edged the drink on each one with a coordinating Caran d'Ache crayon.
On the yellow one I added letters from Uppercase Alphabet plate.
On the green one I used both layers of Celebrate from Skinny Sentiments. I never plan my projects so I don't have a clear idea of how they are going to end up, and the only place I could put a sentiment on this one was covering the stencilling, but hey ho, I like it.
I added some white highlighting around the dots, added stamping with Art Marks 2 and made up the word 'Cheers' from the letters in Skinny Sentiments. The set contains almost all the letters of the alphabet - the only ones missing are F, J, M (but you could maybe invert the W), U, V X and Z, so you should be able to make up quite a few words.
I hope you've enjoyed my ATCs. If you're shopping in the store don't forget to use my code STAMPGIRLSHIRLEY for 20% discount.

ReplyDeleteThese are so cool!! I love how stamping the image on an angle and not using all of it really adds some movement and interest! It's hard to pick, but I think the green is my favorite!
