{Stencil Sunday} Stenciling with Glitter Paste

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! Is it hot where you are or is it hot? We've had temps over 100F over here in the Central Valley. It's time for a new batch of stencil inspiration and for the next 3 months, we have two super talented guest designers showing off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

Today we have guest designer Deepti Aggarwal sharing 3 beautiful glittery cards.

Here's Deepti with her cards:

Happy Sunday, everyone!! This is Deepti and I am so excited to be here at STAMPlorations blog for next three months showcasing ARTplorations stencils for Stencil Sunday. For today's post, I have created three easy peasy but super glittery cards using glitter paste.

And if you are wondering that you need all the colored glitter pastes to make these beautiful stenciled backgrounds...then you get it wrong!!! ;)... "I have just used Silver Glitter Paste".. Excited... then keeps on reading...

Card 1

To make this card, I took white card stock and stenciled the background using Petals 1 with glitter paste. To make my silver glitter paste "Green", I added green Brushos crystal colors (you can add any color burst or pigment colors)... Yes this is the trick and you can make any color of your choice... sounds fun..:)

Once the stenciled panel dried, I adhered it to white A2 size note card. To highlight the sentiment against the bright background, I die cut out small rectangle using Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies on vellum and adhered die cut out sentiment using Birthday Wishes phrase pie . Finally added some black sequins to complete it.

Card 2

For the second card, I took die cut out rectangle using Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and ink blended it using distress oxides and splatter it with water to add interest. After that, I stenciled it using Zen Hearts stencil with red glitter paste which I made by adding Brushos red crystal color on silver glitter paste.

I adhered this stenciled panel on matching card stock and added die cut out Hugs word die sentiment which I layered twice. Finally, added some silver sequins to complete it.

Card 3

For this card, I chose black card stock to try my homemade colored glitter paste. I divided silver glitter paste in to 7 parts and added rainbow crystal colors and applied it on card stock using Oh My Stars! stencil to create galaxy background. To add interest, I splattered it with white acrylic paint.

Once dried, adhered this panel on white note card. Finally added the layered sentiment using foam tape where "You are" is die cut out using You Are My Sunshine phrase die and "magical" using Magical word die.

I hope you like the idea of making beautiful, super glittery stenciled background with your own colored glitter paste. Check my blog here for more details.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
