{Spotlight Project} Monika does 3-D Look Stencilling


Hello STAMPlorations Friends! It's Monika back with another Spotlight feature. You might have noticed that the Confetti #1 stencil is fast becoming one of my favourites. I just love how versatile it is. For today's card I made it pop with a 3D look.

Here it is:


Aren't the stars and dots popping off the page? Let me take you through the process on how it came about.



I used three colours which would blend well together, Aurore, Cire and Grenadine Izink inks.
Placing my stencil slightly to the left on my piece of card, I first sponged the yellow ...


... before slightly offsetting the stencil a little to the right and up and sponging with orange.



I offset the stencil again and added the red.



To finish, I layered on a red base card and added a die-cut skinny sentiment.
