Let me show you today's funky project.
First I gathered the templates and stamps for use in my project. The Rectangles Flexi-Templates seemed to be a good match for the coffee cups from the Sweet Kindness stamp set.
I started off by attaching the pieces of the template to my card using re-positionable tape. They were arranged in a rather crazy pattern. By the way, the tape rubs off the templates quite easily after use and the black dots make it easy to remember which side of the template has the sticky tape on as I tend to put it on the reverse where the dot appears to be grey.
I then brushed with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and Old Olive SU inks.
After removing the template pieces I spritzed the card with a little water, stamped the coffee cups and watercoloured them.
The cups were masked and I used a stamp from the Mixed Media Elements set to stamp the frames using the template pieces as masks as I went along.
I then added some grey shading behind the coffee cups and a sticker sentiment before masking again and stamping the leaves in grey and black Versafine.
The panel need to be cut down a bit and edged with black before it got layered on my base card. A little heart provided the finishing touch.
Here are the STAMPlorations products I used in today's card:
