Hi peeps! I made a couple of quick and easy cards using the Flutter Zen 1 layering die.
It all started off with a mop-up panel from my stash. As per usual, I didn't know where this was going till I got going! I wanted to get two butterflies out of the panel but if I just cut it in half the pieces would have been too small for the die, so I marked out what space I needed and cut the panel on a curve to accommodate the die.
I loaded some of the sentiments from Bloomdala Bliss onto my stamp block, inked it up and stamped each piece of card, then I diecut the butterflies.
The butterflies were pretty, but I couldn't throw away the negative pieces either.
So I swapped them around and paired them with the opposite negative.
Which one do you prefer?
You might want to dust off your butterfly stamps and dies - you could be needing them soon...
