Hello STAMPlorations Friends! Today's projects are putting the spotlight on the Shooting Stars stencil. If you love stars, you'll find this stencil to be a very useful addition to your stash.
I used it to make a trio of one layer cards, here they are:
I decided on which one of the stars I wanted to use and picked a sentiment to go with it. Then I simply moved the stencil across my cream square base card to find my ideal placement. Once I was happy, I secured the stencil and used my little brushes to stencil the stars.
Once the stencil was removed, I stamped my sentiment in place and my card was finished.
I rather enjoyed myself and continued to play.
Again the placement of the stars and sentiment were important. I first tried it on the stencil itself to see how they might work together before moving both over my base card.
Once I was happy the stencil got secured, the colour was applied and I finished off with my stamped sentiment.
Shooting stars can also make great Christmas cards. Here is a quick CAS take on that.
The steps were the same as with my other cards.
I used a little bit of orange around the edges to add more depth to the yellow stars.

That's it from me for today. Wishing you a lovely week.
