Happy Monday Crafty Friends! It's Sue N here and I have three cards to share with you. You'll see that I embraced stencils, rainbows and clear stickers for all three.
Card #1
For this card, I used Ethnic Organic One stencil and distress inks (salty ocean, seedless preserves, festive berries, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, mowed lawn), applied with an ink blending tool. I adhered the clear sticker from the Inspirational #1 Clear Stickers pack onto a 1.5" x 4.25" strip of vellum and then adhered the vellum to the card. Here's a close-up of the sentiment sticker. I like that the vellum doesn't cover up all the pretty rainbow colors.

Card #2
This card was made with the Bloomdalascopic #2 stencil and the same rainbow distress inks as card 1 (salty ocean, seedless preserves, festive berries, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, mowed lawn) applied with an ink blending tool. I didn't want to take away from the beautiful stenciled image, so I added a simple sentiment using a sticker from the New Day Clear Stickers pack. Here's a close-up.

Card #3
For this card, I used the Broken Glass stencil and again the same distress inks (salty ocean, seedless preserves, festive berries, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, mowed lawn). I had the distress inks out, I might have well put them to good use, right? Instead of blending one color into the next, I tore some printer paper and used the torn edge like a stencil. This resulted in irregular edges between the colors. This is how it turned out.
I decided to rotate it to make a landscape card. I added the bold sentiment with a sticker from the Birthday Word Art Clear Stickers pack. I also added some birthday symbols using the Party Mates stamp set. I stamped the images onto white cardstock with black ink and fussy cut the images.
It's been a privilege to have been here at Sticker Monday over the past three months. I love working with the Clear Stickers and I encourage you to give them a try.
