Perfect Pairs: Blooms & Sunshine with Walter

Today we're showcasing Perfect Pairs: Blooms & Sunshine with two beautiful cards by STAMPfella Walter.

For his first card, Walter used the tag ephemera cuts to create a fun dimensional border along the bottom of the card panel. He stamped the coordinating paint/ink splatter background stamp with gold metallic pigment ink and added the "Sending You Sunshine" sentiment in brown. A generous amount of grunge gives the card a vintage feel and ties all the elements together. The result is a warm, layered design that lets the colorful floral ephemera take center stage.

For his second card, Walter kept things simple with a pretty focal arrangement. He used one of the floral ephemera cuts with the Curly Labels/Tags die and added a paper doily from his stash for a little extra detail. The soft pink background and gold accents complement the florals beautifully, while the "Sending You Sunshine" sentiment finishes the card without competing with the focal image.
