I always thought the outhouse is just hilarious, so I finally had some time to make a card with it!
I started with watercolor paper and heat embossed the outhouse in white.
I then layered water colors around it, starting with a relatively light blue and adding darker shades, one by one. I made sure the colors dried in between adding a new layer. I also colored the outhouse in different shades of brown.
You don't have to worry about your watercolor skills here, because it looks even better with imperfections! I added water splatters and white splatters with Speedball ink.
Then I decided it would look better on darker paper, so I took a square stitched die (SSS) and found some matching papers in my stash and stapled it all together. The sentiment is heat embossed, too. The pretty glitter enamel dots are from Happy Little Stampers.
I love how this turned out! But I am thankful I don't have to actually use an outhouse on a daily basis ;) Happy Stamping!
