Hi peeps! I've been making a few comic strip cards lately, so I thought I'd show you my process.
Basically, it's creating a card made up of image frames with pictures or words in them, much like they were in the comics you got as a kid. This pin is what fired my imagination, and I wanted to have a go at creating something similar with The Bee's Knees SmallBirds which you can see in this post. Next came the dresses, in this post and this post.
For today's card I'm using the Country Rustic set (along with a cheeky SmallBird who's checking out the accommodation!). I started off by stamping the sentiment in the centre of my panel, then added some pencil marks roughly where my frames would be.
Products Shirley used in today's project:

I am so glad you shared this because I hadn't got around to popping over and see how you did this. Love the look and the card. I am not sure 'just draw a squiggly frame'is as easy as you infer but I shall certainly be having a go at these. In fact, they may become a bit addictive....... Hugz
ReplyDeleteIts Wonderful ..loved the squiggy frames !
ReplyDeleteFabulous inspiration. Love this comic strip idea and the sketchy frames, that compliment the stamps beautifully. Very creative x
