{Stencil Sunday} Shirley's Beautiful Stenciled Faces

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! We are back with another helping of Stencil Sunday goodness! On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of the month, the STAMPgirls are sharing their projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

For today's Stencil Sunday post, STAMPgirl Shirley used four of our Faces stencils for her travellers notebook. 

  

  

Here's Shirley with her projects:

I created four projects in a signature for my travellers notebook. (A signature is the fancy name for the folded paper inserts in the notebook.)

I used fineliner pens to create the outlines, then painted her skin with Distress Inks and a No.5 round brush, and painted and sponged the background.

I stamped Trendy Spring Blooms into her hair, and added some extra stamping around the edges - Beautiful from Hashtag Authentic and one of my favourite grunge stamps from Mixed Media Grunge.

The next one uses Faces: Chic, Bold Sentiments: Fabulous and Scribbly Splattery Grunge.

A bit of Stickles on the earrings to highlight the bling.

In my head, that's a fluffy froufrou edging to her cocktail dress.

This double spread uses Faces: Pensive.

I just painted the face and skin, and just a bit of background, for an artsy look.

I drew round a few flower masks (Bloom Silhouettes) and stamped a butterfly from Trendy Butterflies.

This last one uses Faces: Grace, but I just used parts of it and flipped it to change the hair a little bit. There's a step-by-step on my blog showing how I changed it up.

I added some white highlights in her eyes and on her lips - it makes such a difference.

For her top I used the Mini Foiled Again stencil.
