{Stencil Sunday} Stenciled Background Fun with Shirley

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! Ready for a fresh batch of stencil inspiration. You'll get to see projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

STAMPgirl Shirley used two stencils to create eye-catching backgrounds for her CAS cards.

Hello! I've been using stencils to make backgrounds for CAS cards, and because only part of the background panel is stencilled, you can make two backgrounds at once.

Just add your stencilling down the centre section of a double-sized panel, then cut in half. This pair uses the Tribal Triangles stencil along with Little Monsters, Big Monsters and Everyday Sentiments.

You can change the orientation of the finished card too. This card uses the Dots and Dashes stencil, Skinny Sentiments and Sweet Cravings.

You can easily personalise the cards with diecut letters. I've used Uppercase Alphabet, Lowercase Alphabet, Baby Bump and Heaven Sent.

Pop on over to my blog to see how easy it is to create these backgrounds, and leave a comment on both blogs for your chance to win a $15 gift code.

Shirley's cards are simply adorable you need to pop over to her blog for a closer look. For a chance to win a $15 gift code to the STAMPlorations store, leave a comment here and on Shirley's blog by February 8. We'll announce the winner in the January winners post on February 10.

Did you enjoy today's featured post? Next week it's Sue's turn to share her projects :o)
