Hello STAMPlorations Friends! I am back today with another set of cards using the small gems from the Sparkly set.
Here they are:
For my first card, I have taken inspiration from my last Spotlight Project post here. I wondered, if I could stamp something resembling a mandala and have the sentiment in the center. Cheery rainbow colours seemed to fit the bill.
I picked a sentiment and die-cut an oval shape to use as a mask.
I the played around choosing the position for my sentiment and decided to put it towards the bottom of my card.
I put the oval in place and stamped the gems around it. Not quite the mandala I had in mind, but I rather like the arched shape.
To finish I stamped my sentiment and added a few gems.
For my next card, I decided to use just one of the gems in combination with my sentiment and the die-cut oval.
I stamped the gem repeatedly and slightly offset in Mer Du Sud Izink ink. It is not very important for the stamping to be very straight.
I then added some more gems in a contrasting Cerise colour.
The sentiment was stamped in Elegant Eggplant on my die-cut oval.
To finish I added some Elegant Eggplant spray, attached my sentiment and a few gems.
Here is one last look at this week's colourful creations:
That's it from me for today. If you feel stamping a mandala shape using one of our Stamp Club sets or making a project using any of the techniques or ideas shared by my teamies in their Spotlight Posts, make sure to link up your makes with our spotlight project gallery here.
That's it from me for today. Hope my little card inspired you to get creative with ice cream.
Have a lovely week!

Fun cards! I particularly like the second one, and am thinking the design would work great for a masculine card by switching out the stamps and the colours. Thanks for the inspiration!
