Hi,
Cornelia here today, swiping ink pads. I love those flowers - this one is from the new stamp club set for August,
Floral Bliss. But I am not so good at coloring, so I have to come up with other options.
This was my inspiration for this card. I found it in my email and thought it's quite a cool advertisement and needs to be transformed into a card.
And this is how I did it:
I stamped and masked the flower with Tuxedo Memento ink.
I pulled out my long neglected ColorBox ink pad dating back to the beginnings of my stamping, when I thought I only needed black ink and maybe some colors and those teeny tiny ink pads would do.
I took out the yellow first and swiped it across towards the right of the upper flower and continued with orange and purple.
I added some color to the cone centers.
I stamped the sentiment and added a snippet of PP to the main sentiment and then - you guessed it - can't do without splatters.... Used my beloved tattered angels oil slick glimmer glaze. Makes beautiful glossy black splatters.
Hope you liked this - see you next month!
