Happy New Year, Crafters! Yes it's already January... Doesn't time fly when you are having fun! I hope you enjoyed my Mixed Media tutorials as much as I did but, sadly, today is the last one, at least for this year.

 

{Mixed Media Tutorial} Stencils and Hot Foils

 

Hello crafters, Craftyfield here today for a new Mixed Media tutorial.

  

As it's nearly Christmas I thought I would indulge you with a technique that gives SHINE!!!  

For the most reflective, metallic, shine foils are the best. Today I am using Hot foils, which require the use of a laminator. (I think it is possible to use an iron but I  wouldn't risk it!)

Sometimes when we think of mixed media or artist trading cards, we think of messes. Well at least I usually do. Messes can be so much fun. But sometimes there isn't enough time to play and get things cleaned up for real life. That is where a project like I am going to show you comes in. These Mixed Media Artist Trading Cards were not only not very messy but they came together very quickly because most of the work is already done by using the ephemera cards and tiles.
