Hello, STAMPlorations friends! Deepti here and welcome to my sixth spotlight feature. With Christmas right around the corner, I am sure you must be is a rush to create as many Christmas cards as possible. So, today I decided to show you how to make some quick Christmas cards.

I have used the October Stamp set Joyful, Holiday Sketches: Christmas Bells, and Holiday Sketches: Christmas Candles. For the sentiment, I used Oh! Christmas Tree.

So here's a look into all the finished cards together... The idea is to keep the color scheme simple and use patterned paper to add to the design.

{Spotlight Project} Nonni Plays with Classy, Rustic, and Shiny Elements in a Fun Coffee-Themed Card!

Hi all STAMPlorations fans! It's Nonni here playing with one of the new sets we just released last week: VIGNETTE: Eat Drink Be Merry. One day when I was brewing coffee, I realized the piece of cardboard in the package of my coffee filters would be a fun template for a coffee-themed card and that's how this project saw daylight. Mark your calendar, STAMPlorations friends, because for five days beginning November 17, we'll be having a stamp release blog hop! Each day the STAMPlorations girls will be showcasing the new stamps we're releasing this month and it's going to be fun!

If you've participated in our previous blog hops, you know how easy it is to win: simply visit the designers' blogs and leave comments. There are stamps and a gift certificate to be won, but you know me, I like throwing a surprise during the hop and adding a prize or two to the pot, especially when we see many of you hopping along and excited about the new release :o)

November Challenge: Stamps & Layers

Welcome to the November challenge! We’d love it if you’ll join us for the entire month! Each month we have a theme, and for November, our theme is STAMPS & LAYERS. You can use stamps by other companies to create projects that you enter to our challenges but please do not use our challenges for the sole purpose of promoting another stamp company. If you have our stamps in your stash, we'd be tickled if you use them -- and we've tweaked the prize a bit to encourage you to use our stamps if you have them!

Put your own spin on this month's theme -- as long as you use stamps in your project(s) (as opposed to projects without stamping whatsoever) and your project has layers (whether it's just two or lots!), we'd love to see them!

{Spotlight Project} Writing Home for Christmas...

Hi, everybody! Today I completely left my comfort zone. I had this idea swirling 'round in my head and it didn't want to go away. All I could think of was 'writing home for Christmas', I guess, I just had to get on with it :-) The outcome is this vintage-inspired collage type card:

I used the following sets: Joyful, VIGNETTE: Christmas Block, Oh, Christmas Tree!, and VIGNETTE: Old Type. The sentiments of the Joyful set with their old typewriter style font gave me the idea.
