{Throwback Thursday} Pairing Stencils and Dies for Fab Cards

Hey, STAMPlorations friends! It's time for a new Throwback Thursday post courtesy of the super-creative Craftyfield!

Hello stampers!
My inspiration for today's Thursday Throwback is Shirley's gorgeous dragonfly card:

You can see the original Inspiration Tuesday post here.

First my take of Shirley's make with the Flutter Zen 1 Layering Dies instead of the dragonfly.

Here I used my top favorite Brusho, Moss Green, which combines green and violet pigments, along with more violet and Cerise Infusion (Paper Artsy) with the ARTplorations stencil Senecio 1 (Sanna Lippert Designs).

My next card, is the positive of that first image, as this time I use the stencil part to apply the powders:

Here I used Rusty car Infusion (Paper Artsy) and the Turquoise Blue Brusho. The die cut butterfly colours have also been reversed.

For my last card I tested the technique with a different stencil, Beyond the Trees – ARTplorations Slimline stencil and a different focal die-cut using the For the Birds Dies.
As you can guess I love this simple design that just showcase the beauty of the stencil and die-cut, it is also an idea that can be adapted to many stencils/dies combinations.

I hope I have inspired you! Do come back in 4 weeks for another Throwback Thursday!
