{Stencil Sunday} Carol Creates His and Her Cards

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! How is your summer going? It's time for a new batch of stencil inspiration. You'll get to see projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

STAMPgirl Carol has got a treat for us today -- his and her versions of cards.

MAY WINNERS

Hello, STAMP friends! It's the 10th of the month, which means it's time to announce last month's winners! We also have winners of our Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge and May Inspiration Projects posts, as well as winners of our special posts: Stencil Sunday, Sticker Monday, Throwback Thursday, Christmas in the Air, CRAFTplorations with Jane, Spring|Summer Coffee Lovers Hop, Coffee Stamps Release Hop, and Spring Fling Blog Hop and Linky Party. Plus we had a $25 gift certificate giveaway on the store last month. Winners were randomly chosen by Random.org.

An important reminder to challenge players:
  • When playing in our challenges, you must display the challenge graphic AND link back directly to the challenge post (NOT to the main blog or the challenge section) via TEXT link in your blog post in order to qualify for the prizes. (Note: Several were passed over as winners/runners up/random picks because they were either missing the challenge graphic or didn't have a text link to the challenges they entered in their blog posts.)
  • Be mindful of the maximum challenge entries -- the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge has a limit of 6 entries per player; the CAS Cards Challenge has a limit of 3 entries per player; the Stencil Challenge has no entry limit.

An important note about our winners post: winners (challenges, blog hops, and special posts) of the previous month are announced in one post (this one). All winners must claim their prizes by the deadline. If you are a regular player in our challenges or participant in our blog hops and special events, please consider following our blog, even signing up to receive email notifications when new posts are published. You'll find those links on the right side bar.

An important note about our prizes:
  • For our challenges, we offer prizes in the form of gift certificates for use in our main store. For our special posts, hops, and events, we offer prizes in the form of gift certificates, gift codes (also called coupon codes and gift vouchers), and products. There is a difference between a gift certificate and a gift code and it's all explained on THIS PAGE (please take the time to read that page).
  • Gift certificates and gift codes may not be passed on, given to, or used by another person other than the one it was issued to.
  • If you are a winner, you may opt for a gift code to our digital store. Note, though, that if you choose this, the gift code cannot be combined with other codes, as I use a different e-commerce platform for our digital store. (Products in our outlet store are already heavily discounted so no gift codes will be issued for use on that store.)

Winners, please claim your prize on or before Wednesday, June 24. Prizes not claimed by June 24 will be forfeited -- NO EXCEPTIONS. Please understand that because we have a lot of winners and give away $100 to $200 worth of prizes in the form of products, gift certificates, and gift/coupon codes each month, it would take a lot of time to contact the winners individually. I also want to be fair to those who regularly visit our blog and claim their prizes within the time frame given.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLAIMING PRIZE

When claiming your prize, send an email to stamplorations@gmail.com

I have an email filter set up for claiming prizes so to avoid delay and to make sure I see your email in my BLOG PRIZE folder, follow this format in the subject line:

"STAMPlorations May Winner - specific challenge here"
e.g., "STAMPlorations May Winner - CAS Cards Challenge"
"STAMPlorations May Winner - Sticker Monday"

It also helps if you include what prize you won (a $15/$10/$5 gift certificate, a $15 coupon code, $10 gift code, tangible product, etc.) in the body of your email. Also specify if you prefer to use your prize on our main store or digital store. This way I know which code to generate, as codes generated for one store will NOT work on the other store.

If you are the winner of a tangible/mailable prize, include your complete mailing address in the email you send, even if I already have mailed to you before. (It saves me time having to look up your address.)

{Spotlight Project} Monika Re-visits Gelatos

Hello STAMPlorations Friends! Somewhere someone recently mentioned Gelatos. This got me thinking about getting mine out for a little play. I hadn't used them in, well ... years. They were sitting in my bottom draw probably feeling desperately unloved. It was time to dig them out and have a messy play.

Here is what I made ...

Let me take you through the process of how my card came about.

June Stencil Challenge

Hello, stencil fans! Summer's here! We're glad you joined us today for the last stencil challenge this season. The STAMPgirls will be off on a summer break and get their mojo re-charged. Never fear! We'll all be back in October with new challenges. In the meantime, we have plenty of exciting things going on to keep you busy and inspired -- and give you lots of chances to win prizes.

As always, our stencil challenge is anything goes as long as you use a stencil somewhere in your project. You can create any type of project, including but not limited to, cards, ATCs, art journal pages and anything else your creative minds come up with. Just make sure your creations use at least one stencil in some way. We would love to see how you use your ARTplorations stencils, but you are free to use any brand of stencils. Please don't forget to link back to this blog post, and to include the challenge graphic to be eligible for the prizes.

If you play, make sure you include the graphic below in your post and link back to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.

June is here and that means summer is here for real! And we are so happy you are here today with us at the launch of our June Theme and Photo Prompt challenge. This will be our last Theme and Photo Prompt Challenge for the season, we will take a summer break and be back again in October, better than ever. We hope you are enjoying the start of the summer wherever you are, except of course if you join us from the southern hemisphere, in which case we hope you enjoy the seasons changing to winter. Whatever the season, above all we wish that you are all enjoying crafting, whether you are creating quick projects here and there or spending hours developing your skills. How would you feel about joining us for our fun and colourful challenge this month?

Our June theme for the Theme and Photo Prompt challenge is Stamps and Confetti. You can use the theme, the photo prompt or both to inspire your project. Remember, you can link up a maximum of 6 projects (any kind!), no more. Your project should also involve stamping of some kind (rubber, clear or digi stamps are all permitted). We love to see you use your STAMPlorations supplies, but any crafting supplies are allowed. Don't forget to link to this post (find the link below) and make sure you add the challenge graphic to your post to qualify for prizes.

If you play, make sure you include the graphic in your post and link back to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.
