{Spotlight Project} Deepti Builds a Background with Blossom Overture!

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. Today I am showcasing how to build a background with your stamps. So, here's a look at the finished card...

Here's a step-by-step photo tutorial for my card:

STEP 1
I started out with a white card base and stamped the frame at the place which will be my focal point. The rest of the stamping was done around that first stamped image to build the background

STEP 2
I masked that focal frame and stamped the rose using the second generation stamping with Memento tuxedo black ink. I wanted to keep the colors neutral.

STEP 3
I colored the rose with some Spectrum Noir markers.

STEP 4
At this point, I felt there was something missing. So I decided to fill the rest of the frames with the leaf and stem of the rose. Again I did masking and second generation stamping here. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment on a banner and adhered it with some foam tape.

Here's the finished card once again :)

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy crafting!
