Hello, friends!
Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. Today I thought of using mixed media stamps as a way to color another stamp. This technique works best when one stamp is texturized in look rather than solid and another stamp is an outline stamp :) You will understand better when you see the project...
So, here's a look into the finished card.
STEP 1
I started out by stamping the mixed media stamp in two shades of pink to add a variation in color and some shading.
STEP 2
Then I stamped the outline floral image over the stamped mixed media image and fuzzy cut the flowers. Now that was a fun way to color, I enjoyed it :) I also wanted a purple tinge to my flowers and sadly my ink has dried out, so I went over with a purple pencil color to add that tinge :)
STEP 3
Finally I stamped on the card base to build a background for the flowers. Also added a patterned paper strip and die cut and stamped the sentiment to finish my card.
Here's the finished close up :)
That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!
